District 10 Umpire Staff
Meet our Volunteer Umpire Staff
Washington District 10 umpire staff are all volunteers passionate about being the third team on the ballfields throughout south King and north Pierce County. Without this staff, district tournaments would not take place and give boys & girls an enjoyable amateur sports experience.
These dedicated individuals spend time every year working in local leagues and District 10 tournaments doing the following:
- Umpiring games of every division District 10 offers
- Develops & mentors junior and youth umpires
- Schedules umpires for games at the district level
- Attends monthly District 10 Board meetings
- Plans, coordinates, and instructs at yearly District 10 umpire clinic
District 10 Umpire-in-Chief
Dustin Nichelson
As umpire-in-chief (UIC) for District 10, Dustin oversees all activities relating to the interpretation of rules, training activities, and umpire staff.
